Training

Training for situation awareness teaches cognitive skills and gives trainees the confidence to take decisive action.

Situation Awareness (SA) oriented training is focused training that targets the skills that underlie the development of SA. For highly skilled people who function in demanding operations, even the most rigorous training may not be enough for achieving optimum performance. SA training allows your organization to rapidly advance student skills so they are better able to respond to critical situations characterized by complexity or chaos. In these situations, rapid, effective response can mean the difference between containment and catastrophe. SA Training gives students the ability to think about a situation, to analyze the information available, to rapidly consider and evaluate various courses of action, and to take decisive action to avert crises. SA Training focuses on giving students the skills that lead to cognitive agility, the ability to continually re-evaluate the situation and dynamically adapt to changes as they occur.

SA Technologies has innovated a wide variety of programs revolutionizing how people are trained in complex and dynamic environments. Our customized training identifies areas that need improvement and helps people acquire the skills, knowledge and attributes needed for high levels of situation awareness.
